Building the Orphanage...
The ground was bare and seemingly infertile. It was first dedicated with the ACMI staff and the missionaries having faith and a clear picture of what the land would soon transform into. The year:2006
Breaking the Ground! The foundation was dug and set, and the ground was bearing!
(Below)The walls started going up and year after year, missionary teams came to build the orphanage. What began as a suggestion started a journey to reality. Year:2007
Below:The ground floor of the building and Martha, the Operation Hope head with Dennis, tour an avocado and maize plantation in the land. Indeed, it continues to bear fruit!
Year 2011, the slab for the second floor was done and the walls went up once again.
In 2012, the second floor was done so was the roof. The building stands beautifully amid a banana plantation and tall trees, awaiting finishing on the walls and in the inside then furniture.
It had been our hope that it would be ready for occupatio in December 2012, but it seems God has another plan. However, in 2013, this is possible.
As we celebrate God for bringing us this far, we invite you to join with us as we build, in whichever way you are able to. Remember, teams that come have a priviledge to go for a Safari to the famous and great Maasai Mara. visit http://www.trinitysafaris.com/index.html and
