BISHOP MULANDI'S PROFILE - ACMI DIRECTOR

Bishop Henry Z. Mulandi is the International director for African Christian Mission International (ACMI) which he founded in 1991.

Born in Mukaa Location, Machakos District on 4th May 1948 to Timothy K. Mulandi & Tabitha K. Mulandi, his early childhood was marked by a severe drought that struck his homeland in Ukambani.

Education
Henry had his primary education in Mukaa Primary School between 1963 and 1965 before heading on to Lokori Primary School between 1965 and 1967 and finally returning to Mukaa Primary School in 1968 to 1969.

He proceded on to undertake tertiary training in Thika Technical School between 1970 and 1973 and later Kagumo Teachers Training College from 1974 to 1976. He went on to higher education in Rosedale Bible College in Ohio, U.S.A. between 1980 and 1981. He later on pursued undergraduate studies at Daystar University in Nairobi, Kenya between 1988 and 1993.

Ministerial Credentials
- Preached as a freelance evangelist in 1971 to 1979
- Ordained into the ministry in 1975
- Consecrated as a Bishop of ACCEA Southern Diocese in 1986
- Consecrated and enthroned as the presiding Bishop of ACCEA in 1992
- Finished his term in 2002 and stepped down for another Presiding Bishop. Left the church with 9 Bishops, more than 300 churches and more than 50 ministers.

- 1982: RBM School of Ministry (today it has become a university)
- 1983: RBM Retreat Centre in Ngoliba in a five acre land
- Put up a large library (RBM Library) in Thika town with many titles

- Kakuma Base in Northern Kenya was build and dedicated to the ministry of refugees from Sudan and other countries.
- Built a primary school in Turkana Village Lochereng near Kakuma.
- Feeding program for children in Kakuma.

c.) Rumbek in Southern Sudan
- A one year leadership training school
- Agricultural projects with FAO.

d.) Nuba Mountains (Kauda – Kaduuli)
- Leadership training centre in the Nuba areas.
- Outreach Discipleship training.

e.) Bukavu – D.R.Congo
- Discipleship Training Center for Young Adults
- Church Planting in Kinshasa and other areas in Congo
