Teams are welcome and encouraged to build the Journey of Hope orphanage with ACMI. The orphanage, located in Magogoni, a short distance from Thika Town, will be a home to many HIV-AIDS orphans and vulnerable children. These children are currently living with their elderly relatives, and far away from proper medical reach and good food.

The visit to build the orphanage is coupled with a safari to the great Maasai Mara in conjunction with Trinity Tours and Safaris and Kichakani Camp. With a host of activities such as nature walks, bird watching, balloon safaris, Maasai cultural dances and lectures, this 3 day safari will be unforgettable! The Maasai Mara is famed for the Maasai tribe who live amongst the wildlife as they share land with lions, elephants, giraffes, rhinos, buffaloes and all the other game that live freely on the land.
